Windstorm and Hurricane Damage

Living in Florida has its pros and cons. Although we get the sun, sand, and heat that northerners envy, we also deal with the tradeoffs of windstorms and hurricanes.  Damages from these storms can be tremendous.  Homes, cars, and personal property are often damaged in the storms.  Houses incur roof, window, and physical damage to the property.  Businesses lose power and, consequently, profits.

When a hurricane or windstorm occurs, don’t simply trust the valuation of the insurance companies.  Often times they’ll try to give you the least amount of recovery money that you’re entitled to and, sometimes, they’ll even deny your hurricane or windstorm damage claim outright.  Also, when these storms happen, there are hundreds of claims submitted by others.
