Biography
Linsay R. Warren, Esq. is a partner at Davis Law Firm specializing in insurance coverage and business litigation. Before joining Davis Law Firm, Linsay spent over a decade as in-house counsel in the social sector and brings her experience in insurance portfolio management and business operations to her current practice..
Linsay’s prior legal experience includes serving as Vice President & Assistant General Counsel for Wounded Warrior Project (WWP), an international organization that supports post-9/11 veterans. She provided legal and business advice, oversaw legal operations and supervised a team of attorneys and paralegals. Linsay managed the organization’s contracts, commercial insurance portfolio and estate matters. She also served as a facilitator and executive speaker for trainings in teamwork, leadership, communication, risk management and compliance.
Before joining WWP, Linsay served as In-House Counsel and Adoption Supervisor for Family Support Services of North Florida (FSS), a non-profit that supports children in foster care. Linsay provided legal advice, while overseeing the contract department. She also regularly facilitated strategy resolution meetings for high risk children, families, and stakeholders. Linsay had the honor of serving as a representative for the Governor’s Explore Adoption Campaign, an initiative to raise awareness for children available for adoption through foster care. She also represented FSS on the statewide Contract Managers Committee and at local Northeast Florida adoption-related media events.
Prior to starting her legal career, Linsay spent a year consulting with an international women’s organization. Her work focused on risk management, operations and women’s leadership development. When she is not practicing law, Linsay also provides consulting, research and grant writing services for organizations seeking to implement social change and transformation.
